I love everything in Marie Claire magazine except the outrageous sex articles; an example of one of these sex articles is the recent "Give your husband a three way for his birthday."

• Cons: Ad heavy, and I don't like the way articles are written; I don't like the fashion articles either.

Maybe I don't like Marie Claire magazine because I am picky with my magazines. I decided to give Marie Claire a try because I read it was good about fashion stuff, but I just opened it and read like 5 pages, and I don't like it at all. It is too "plastic girl," too superficial. I am looking for something more real, more to my age (30 yo) and close to my expectation in life. I tried Self magazine also and within the first pages I totally loved it.

Marie Claire magazine is a fantastic magazine for fashion coverage and things you can actually wear! It has nice coverage on accessories; I like it better than W magazine. Marie Claire also has nice articles for reading as well. I am 59 and do not plan on looking my age. I think this magazine is for a wide age range.

• Cons: They showcase very expensive clothing and articles with a political bent tend to be biased

Marie Claire magazine is my favorite magazine out of the three I subscribe to. Not only does it update me about the latest styles in fashion and beauty, but provides me with information about other women around the country and around the world. Some examples: the magazine profiled a woman from Cambodia who broke from the tradition of wearing neck rings and another who was a burlesque dancer married to a conservative politician.

I really like the advice and fashion tips revealed in Marie Claire magazine. I feel that they target my age group. It has high quality print and easy but fun to read. I recommend this magazine.
