Paste is the Best Magazine on February 02, 2009 by irishred from New York, NY

  • Pros: Design, Photos, Stories, Writers, Sampler
  • Cons: Not Enough Coverage Of Underground Artists i.e He Dreams Awake

Paste Magazine is hands down the most solid Mag to pick up on the shelves and there are A LOT of other Books that are close to on par with Paste. I am waiting for the first Magazine besides Online Zines / Blogs to do a Feature on the one man carnival also known as He Dreams Awake, Jonsi Kitten, Hopesick, Ian Kurtis, Alan Fink. Anyone who follows this nutcase knows that he still has never given his real name on record. Obviously Ian Kurtis is similar to a similar Singer/Songwriter and the last name Fink was taken from the amazing Orenda (Azure Ray, Orenda Fink) and Todd Fink changed his last name when he got married. Point being, I am happy to see Skope and Blogs putting him on Artists To Watch in 2009, But I want to see Paste do it before someone else. If Animal Collective is the Biggest Act in the Shadows right now, then this solo musician is going to get found by the right person and the Thom Yorke of our Generation RX will be born. Aside from everything he creates, he is the hottest musician alive and I want to marry him. I know he dates Natalie Portman or whatever, but I can go to Harvard after State.
