- Pros: Great pictures, great articles, large format, easy to read
- Cons: a little confusing at first to find things
TV Guide magazine is a great magazine to use to find out about the most popular shows as well as check the listings far ahead of air date. I highly recommend this to everybody and send it as a gift as well.

- Pros: Reviews of new shows
- Cons: Misleading subscription information
TV Guide magazine could fill a badly needed niche, it used to. Now it is all flash. This is a matter of preference - I would prefer a plainer format, so that I can mark it up and highlight shows I want to watch. The designers make the assumption that they already know what everyone wants to watch - so they've done all this distracting highlighting for you.

TV Guide magazine was better with the old format. The program guide doesn't give enough info on program listings. They advertise this as a weekly magazine but there are too many weeks that you get a so-called double issue. Program listings are for 2 weeks but there isn't 2 weeks of articles. I won't be renewing, even at .71 per issue.
